Mr Raghbir Khakha is a dual fellowship trained Trauma and Specialist Knee Surgeon focusing on all aspect of conditions effecting the knee for both adolescent and adult patients.
He is a partner of the OS Clinic, one of the largest private orthopaedic groups in London.
His National Health Service practice is at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals, the largest trust in the UK, where he is the lead surgeon for trauma and hosts a fellowship programme in knee surgery.
Privately he works in a number of prestigious institutions providing a comprehensive knee service for patients in the UK and abroad.
Mr Khakha is a leading surgeon based in London specialising in Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries, Medial Collateral Ligament injuries, Meniscal tear injuries, Joint Preservation Surgery (high tibial osteotomy, distal femoral osteotomy and slope changing osteotomy), Anterior Knee pain, Rotational Malalignment, Unicompartmental Knee Replacement and Total Knee Replacement Surgery.
Additionally, he has an interest in non-operative management of knee pain/inflammation, including working closely with physiotherapy colleagues and the use of injections to help relieve symptoms.
He is globally recognised for developing innovative techniques across sports and joint preservation surgery.
Mr Khakha has published over 50 peer reviewed articles and is routinely an invited guest speaker for national and international meetings to share his expertise in contemporary management of knee conditions.
Mr Khakha chairs several working groups in developing national and international guidelines for knee conditions in the fields of sports surgery and joint preservation.
Mr Khakha and his team are focused on providing a tailor made approach for his patients, with an emphasis of high quality, well informed and expertly executed care.
